With Juve pending a move for an established top class player this summer it seems that many here also believe we'll sign a promising youngster. Be it taking back Gabbiadini or Boakye, perhaps Immobile? Belfodil? etc etc..
Why dont we make a quick list of youngsters in order of probability rather than likability. And don't go all pessimistic now, guys!

1. Belfodil
2. Gabbiadini
3. Boakye

*Boakye should join pre-season and let Conte evaluate. he could be good enough already for this job. match fitness is required for him to develop but he could easily get 10-15 games next season be it coppa or serie.

I can think of a few payers more but you guys probably have a totally different list. please post and explain. it intrigues me what players we'll have in this section (2nd backup ST) for next season.

I'd imagine that the most likely would be a promising youngster that we already own a percentage of (Immobile, Boakye, Gabbiadini) rather than a youngster that we would have to pay a large amount for (Muriel/Belfodil)

Right. So what you're saying is that one of Immobile, Gabbiadini or Boakye will warm our bench for next season?

That would be my guess...assuming we don't take up the option on Anelka and keep him as a 5th striker.

1st Llorente
2nd Jovetic/Sanchez/anyone else that we buy
3rd Matri
4th Vucinic
5th Anelka/Gabbiadini/Boakye

Naturally, the choice will be made by Conte who will decide whether it is better for a younger player to play ~15/20 games as a bit part player with Juve or whether it is better for the same player to play 30+ games with a smaller team (Bologna/Palermo/Sassualo etc). If he believes it is better for them to be loaned out, we will prob have some shitty elder player (Anelka/Borriello etc) be 5th striker.

Right. I dont think Anelka will get his chance here. His wages are far too big for his position in the team. Only a regular starter can earn a big contract like that. He was only loaned to fill the void of Bendtner given that we had to have something on hand for Champions League.

Otherwise I like that list of strikers. Priority will change eventually but yes. We need a new SS and a young ST.

3rd Vucinic
4th Giovinco
5th Matri/Quagliarella/Gabbiadini/Boakye

This seems most likely to me. One of Matri and Quagliarella could take that 5th spot.. Im not that happy with Boakye warming the bech instead of getting goals in his legs.. He's still very young for the big stage.. And Bologna will be more than happy to keep Gabbiadini whilst I dont see us getting rid of both Matri and Quagliarella in one window. Both have proven enough quality for the bench so far this season..

The numbers were misleading, what I meant was Matri would be Llorente's reserve, and Vucinic would be 2nd reserve (i.e. to Jovetic/Sanchez whoever). I would keep Giovinco as 5th striker, but I don't know if he would be willing to play such a 'small' part in our season.

I too would also prefer Boakye/Gabbia to get regular playing time, but they may reason it out like Marrone, who had said, it is better to play 10 games with Juve than 25 with a provincial team. Who knows, we might use Beltrame as a 5th striker so he can slowly develop

El Pipita to Juve would be the steal of the century if it happens. Here's a new Diego Milito, we mustn't pass on this one.

    Please, Marotta, do it.
