I would actually approve signing Balo - if Conte believes he can manage him, although I'm doubtful. Not that Conte is poor but that very few can master the beast of Balo. His raw talent is however enough to not neglect and needs to be considered. One potential issue, that might not be true, is that I behold Vucinic as our best striker and talent-wise Gio second, but the two have so far not really clicked and they don't seem to fit. In the euros Balo showed that he can actually work as a prima punta but I still have a feeling that the movements from Balo and Vuci are perhaps too similar. They offer pretty much the same things and in the long run I would prefer to have a real prima punta that Gio, Vuci or even Balo could set up goals for. Interesting though is the difference between Gio and Balo, Gio is very ineffective in big games while Balo, imo, usually grows in big games but unlike Gio who flourish against smaller teams Balo disappears.

summary: If Conte thinks he can handle Balo and Quagmire, Matri and Bendtner leaves I would OK a signing of Balo. Bendtner still needs to leave but I would preferably sign a real goal getter than Balo.

Balotelli could have been one of the best strikers in the world right now if he wasn't...crazy.

It seems that he goes into cycles: stable, psychopath, stable, psychopath...

If he were to calm down, mature a bit (hopefully with his new born he's forced to grow up) and start concentrating on football he could be a wonderful player one day and I'd want Juve to sign him, but until then he's a bit of gamble I'd say.

Anyways I can't see him ever coming here so no use in talking about it.
While I do understand what you are saying, the problem is that if we wait until he has matured, then we won't have a chance to get him. If he matures, then a richer clubs will buy him. We only have a chance to get top strikers that aren't performing well enough in their own club. That's the facts. We need to do some gambling to get a quality striker.

I don't particularly want to see him as I don't think we need him. Too egotistical. "Why always me" and all that shiiit. No thanks,

Balotelli's natural talent is being overrated like an elephant's weight by a little kid... He is not that good at all. Not even if his head would've been in check would he ever come near to any real world class striker.

Huntelaar was really great for Milan.
Indeed, we shouldn't even consider that piece of shit.
For fuck's sake. He was the topscorer of the Bundesliga last season. If we're going to say no to people like Huntelaar, we'll end up with Chamakh this summer. There's a reason why we loaned Bendtner this summer. We can't get the best players...

Zlatan on Balotelli (less than a month old quote):
“Mario has so much talent,”

“At his age he has the potential to be one of the best strikers in the world. I think he has matured and I know he would like to play with me again.”

Are you forcing me into liking something that I don't?

Balo played well with Italy, maybe he likes his teammates in the national team more. Oh wait, they're almost all Juve players and add Conte to that. I think he could do well here.

Yes but on the other hand why should we risk to pay 30m for him and give huge wages? Watch him then being benched because he kicked an opponent or said something to his teammate/coach. Those would be wasted money and everyone would be laughing at us we own such a clown.

I'm glad Marotta said no bad boys. We might have not the most talented players in the world but our way has been working for us very well until now so I'd prefer us to keep it this way. We either look at players like Cavani/Falcao who are ideal for our team or just try to find a potential WC striker.
