Dzeko is the forward we actually need. The guy was a beast in German league and in England he scores a lot as a sub. We need someone who is proven at scoring goals and Dzeko is the guy for us. Give Mancini 20-25m so he can go after Neymar/Falcao/Cavani and we get what we need. Dzeko knows how to position himself and how to score. Must buy for us.

Destro has just potential and nothing more while Osvaldo doesn't look like a reliable striker. He's scoring now but he'll get stuck sooner or later cuz he's not WC striker and never was. Enough of mediocrity: buy a class striker or go till the summer as we are.

Yeah and still he isn't getting a proper chance he deserves. It's true City don't need our money but if the get one more striker someone will havet to leave either in January or in the summer. I can see Dzeko being the first one to leave as Mancini loves Aguero and Balotelli while he rates Tevez more than Edin.

Either Dzeko or Villa would be classy transfers. Villa is getting back to himself and he'll be much harder to get than Dzeko.

Anyway I don't believe we can get Osvaldo as he's starter in Zeman's team. Roma won't sell him imo.

Yeah that's true. His salary is our biggest problem to solve. I mentioned it a few times in the past and I think Marotta is good at negotiating salaries but here the gap could be too big. Our only chance is Dzeko's will to get salary cut unfortunately.
