Osvaldo is a big upgrade from Quag and Matri. What stops him from being a really great striker is that he just isn't great often enough. He's like Vucinic in a different style of striker.

Higuain is my number one wish for this Juve out of any striker in the world probably.

Destro's case is weird. Zeman prefers young boys but not this time. Osvaldo is doing well so he's ridding the bench.

For our needs and considering our criteria Dzeko would be the best. He's not retarded dumbfuck and offers a lot in terms of attack. He's well built, strong and he's got decent technique and also good finishing. He's got the right mentality and is probably one of those who didn't reject us recently.

Don't forget he's not happy with being a sub at City too. As usual his price and wages would be our only problems we'd have with this guy.

If there's a player worth to spend 30mln on him that's Dzeko.

*not including Cavani, Falco and the likes since they cost double that.

Well yeah I agree. 30m is a lot for us so I guess we can't afford him but if he was available for 25m I'd say it'd a bargain for us. Mancini will try his chance for Falcao and/or Cavani for sure but it won't be in January I guess.

Can't say I understand the Osvaldo infatuation.

He'd be an upgrade on Quagliarella, but not worth what he'd cost.

I know Llorente is a good striker. But I feel like he fits the La Liga so much more than Serie A.

I don't have a good feeling about him coming here. Also, I believe that boat has sailed anyways. We had our chance to snap him up but didn't.
Why do you think that boat has sailed?

And what chance did Juve have to get him? Pay 30m+ for a guy with a year left on his contract?

Marotta should be working on getting Javier Hernandez at a cut price.
It'd be an interesting move, but I'd think there would be more chance of him heading to a decent Spanish side when he leaves Man Utd.

He certainly knows how to position himself to get chances, but his actually finishing ability is pretty iffy.

How about Huntelaar in January? He'll have 6 months left on his contract by then and will be cheap..
Should certainly be investigated.

I'd consider him a very good option.

I just think he'll join a Spanish team on a free transfer during the summer.

I completely agree, Juventus should never pay anything close to 30M for this guy. (1 year left on the contract, etc) but I think that was the only chance to pry Lorente away from Bilbao. I think now he'll join some other team, of his desire, this summer.
