Seems like we have a lot of people in here that used to watch Pele week in week out.
I find comparisons, where someone compares a player he watches almost every week with a player he's only seen videos of, pointless.
Saying players like Xavi, Iniesta, C.Ronaldo and Messi are not as good as players in the 90's is stupid. Zidane trumps them all, he was a legend in every sense of the word. Other than that the aforementioned players are just as good as the Rivaldo's, Baggio's and Romario's of the world.

Yup...especially since you have no way of proving it. It's completely subjective and completely unprovable and completely pointless. It's like arguing what the best painting or most beautiful woman of all time is. There is no right or wrong answer and you will get varying opinions, but no facts. Nobody actually knows and nobody can actually prove what they're talking about.
In the past 10 years in La Liga other than Messi and Ronaldo, only Forlan and Eto scored 30 or more in the league...once each. And mighty Matri is gonna score 35? Cool story bro.

No, but David Villa when not with a broken leg, being the focal point of the attack and managing to play 60 games could score a heck of a lot of goals for Barca.
