I totally disagree, but then again that's my opinion vs your opinion. There are no facts here to support either of our arguments. It's like saying food tasted better 10 years ago, or music was so much better in the 80's and 90's. Everything evolves, but not necessarily for the better. At least that's the way I look at it.

And the underrating of Messi is getting ridiculous. I know people hate on Barcelona but that man is a freak. I've watched football since mid 90's and I've never seen anyone dominate the way he does. The guy has scored over 50 goals last 3 seasons and scored 73 fuckin' goals last season. 73, seventy-three!

Music... hmmm, thats a tough one, because there is absolutely no objective scale you can use. For example, you could imagine if Brazil 1960 played vs Brazil 2000, compare the skill of individual players, make hypothesis on those basis, etc.


But you cant really do that for music, because it is all about personal taste, so you cant really compare music from different generations.


It is a given that most of us hate todays music. But it is also a fact that most of our parents hated the music that we think is amazing. And that their parents hated the music they liked, etc, etc.


What I am trying to say is that there is always a conflict of opinions between older and younger generations, and that is a normal part of life.
