Why is it a waste?

Hulk is good enough to play in a much better team / league. We won't hear / see him much right now, and going from Portuguese league to Russian is a step backward imo.

Hulk is absolutely overrated. He is indeed incredibly athletic, having a rare combination of speed and strength. He has dribbling skills, he shoots pretty well.

But the guy is just not smart enough. He is slow thinking, can't keep up with quick thinking guys. He doesn't have a good vision, missing easy passes and taking wrong decisions. He would struggle in a team like Juventus, for example.

I wouldn't pay more than 20M for him, definitely.
