vPersie? really? vPersie isn't a natural striker at all, no need to bring him up here. and no he isn't. He is an attacking player indeed but he's a 10 and for a nr9 we need a goalscoring machine. According to you even Pirlo can be a 9 because he can do more then shooting towards the goal? You do know a striker's task is to score goals right?
And you do know RVP was top scorer last year as the most advanced striker right ? If you don't count RVP as a striker, it's time to watch some actual football instead of reading stereotypes...

RVP didn't start off as a striker; the same is true for Henry. I remember we used to play him on the wing, and at Monaco Trezeguet was playing off him, so he was more of an assists man. Mind you, even Rooney and Aguero are more SS than typical forwards, but they somehow manage to score a lot of goals, as well as create ;)

Yeah after he was postioned there as a striker, read what i said. He is NOT a NATUREL striker. Reading stereotypes?
We are discussing Jovetic overhere, so what if he placed as a striker and he fails to deliver would you mister i watch actual football count him as a striker while it isnt his natural postion?

I thought we prioritized a great striker at the beginning of the market? Are we talking about Berbatov realistically now? He would be a better sub than Quag, but not the top player.
Are we getting a top CF at all? Whom do we have to sell if we get one?

+Rep :agree: I find myself agreeing with both of you which can only imply one thing. You are misunderstanding each other, and you both want to arrive at the same point :D

So what ? Nobody is a natural anything... Chiellini ain't a natural CB after all... That just talking rubbish: It can only be seen once you place them there. In a 3-5-2 Jovetic would be a perfect fit to complement either Giovinco or Vucinic. Just like Van Persie would've been.

No need to limit our game with the Llorente's out there...

So What? So we would still need a Hitman.
I did not say i don't want him here, actually i would have bought him last season if it was up to me but your nobody is a natural anything is bullshit, i could give you plenty examples of players who are born to play on that position.
so in a 3-5-2 you would prefer to play with 2 creative forwards instead of 1 hitman and 1 creative forward?

van persie is the type of player that fits the two post perfectly( st, and hitman)
from my point of view thats the type of player that we need
another vucinic maybe

another question...
and lewandowski??? he is still on the market?
he is on sale why nobody wants him?

Yes, since Llorente would limit our play in one way and complement it the other, but long balls and hopeful crosses are not needed in our game.
Jovetic would easily score as many as Llorente would. Call it: 2 creative forwards inclusive hitman. Not 1 limited hitman and 1 overheavily marked source of creativity.

Not needing an out-and-out hitman was obvious in the supercoppa as well.

What'd you guys think of us getting Nani? No links or anything but he might be on the market for 18-22m. Granted we aren't playing a winger centric formation with the 352 but if we were I think he'd be a great addition. Zenit are apparently going to be making a bid. Bad move for the player IMO.
