I think Llorente is most likely at this point.

The gap between the clubs doesn't seem too big and it should close, provided no other clubs make a move for him - and I don't see anyone making a move for him.

Why not go all out and sign Falcao? Can't do much better than him and since we are getting desperate to the point of 30+m Dzeko/5+m Berbatov bids in the last days of our market spending 40m on Falcao won't be unreasonable at all. Do we have the money though?

IN
Falcao - 45m
OUT
Quag/Matri - 8-10m
Lichtsteiner - 15m

Around 20m to pay. And we can do that on 2nd/3rd installment. Falcao will cover us in the next 5 years. One of the forward spots will be filled to the point where we can forget about it as an issue - and that is something we desperately need.
For starters Athletico Madrid payed 40m with fee's rising to 47m, He's gone on to score 36 goals last season for Athletico so if anything he wouldn't be sold for any less then 55m, Saying that Anzhi have allegedely offered €68m for him. We stand no chance at all and probably never did.

Lyon left-back Aly Cissokho has been the subject of interest from Spanish outfit Valencia and, with an agreement close between the two clubs, the player is ready to move away from the Stade Gerland.

According to Spanish sources, the Mestalla outfit are keen to replace the already departed Jordi Alba and have earmarked Cissokho as their main target.

However, there is a valuation difference between Los Che and Les Gones over the transfer fee of the former Porto defender.

Lyon have set an €8M asking price for the left-back while the Spanish outfit are not ready to offer more than €6.5M for the 24-year-old.

Sportitalia - Relaunch of the PSG for Lichtsteiner

According to the French press in fact, the PSG would have raised heavily and ultimately for Stephan Lichtsteiner, providing for the Swiss side of the card something like €18 million.
