Yep, Napoli was a dangerous and competitive team last year and it still is. Insigne is very good just like Lavezzi. Even Vargas has a lot of potential. Anyway, their CBs still suck.

Now, I really can't understand why people think Roma improved so much, honestly.

Look at their first team: Stekelenburg; Balzaretti, Castan, Burdisso, Piris; Bradley, De Rossi, Pjanic; Lamela, Totti, Destro.

Balzaretti is Ok, but highly overrated. He's just a OK player. Castan is decent. Burdisso average. Piris used to be major SHIT here in Brazil, for 2 years.
Bradley is average. Pjanic has potential but far from getting there yet. Lamela the same. Destro is decent now, has some potential, but is also overrated. Totti in big decline. Marquinho is real average material, the same for Taddei.

They have some youngster with potential, like Dodo, Lamela and Pjanic. But they are all projects. Bojan is also very overrated.

Honestly, I don't see a big threat in Roma.

It's definitely Napoli, Milan and Inter. The last 2 have every chance of being a big failure again. Napoli is a dangerous team, but honestly, Juventus is way better.

And I wouldn't worry about Fiorentina. At all. If they are very, very successful, they could dream about fighting for a CL position. They have improved over last year, but it would be hard not to.

TBH, if mercato ends like it is now, Juve would have great advantage over the others. Pole position for the championship.

1) Juve
2) Napoli
3) Inter
4) Milan
5) Roma

That will be how the league ends next season. :cronios:
This finally going to be the year that Udinese stop performing miracles?

Their style of play still relies on the counter - they'll struggle against smaller teams at times.
Is it? Will they?

Pandev and Insigne (I haven't seen a huge amount of Insigne) are players who are more comfortable making things happen in smaller spaces and that could help them to break teams down.

Lavezzi is great, but he's much better in big spaces and isn't really someone you'd look to to unlock a packed defence.

I dont know what to expect of the purple rats next year. Aren't Aqualani, Pizzaro and Borja quite similair midfielders?
Yeah, I don't quite understand signing all three of them.

Two of them plus a good ball-winner would have made much more sense to me.

I imagine Pizarro/Borja will play deep and Aquilani in a more advanced position? I think one will sit on the bench often

they will still do well enough to fininsh in top7 as long as di natale keeps from, but they lost quite a few important players.

asamoah, isla, handanovic were all important players to them finishing 3rd. If they sell Armero then that's another loss for them. Add to the fact they will be playing in europe and i don't know if they have enough depth and quality to compete agaon

don't feel sanchez was as important for them as he only had half a good season. Inler though i agree, they did quite well to adapt without him.

I think they truly stuggle once they become Di Nataless.

Sanchez was more important then Isla and Asamoah that they just sold, gave Di Natale alot of breathing space, unlike last season where Di Natale was taking care of entire responsibility offensively and getting worn out to the point he considered retiring this summer.

Despite, according to gazzetta.it, Juventus already have an agreement with Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente, Arsenal, according to the Spanish medias, are ready to pay the entire amount of the 27 year old’s termination clause, 36 million euros, while the bianconeri cannot offer more than 20 millions to the Basque club. The main alternative to the Spain national, according to calciomercato.com, remains Inter Milan 27 year old Giampaolo Mazzini, with 29 year old Fabio Quagliarella the key to obtain the Tuscan player. Still regarding the offensive line, in the next hours the Serie A champs should carry out the negotiation with Atalanta for 20 year old Manolo Gabbiadini, while 28 year old defender Federico Peluso seems intentionned to remain at the nerazzurri. Still regarding the defense, Juve are in competition with city rivals Torino FC for Lazio 25 year old Modibo Diakité. On the contrary, 30 year old midfielder Michele Pazienza could do the reserve path.
