Which is what they did last season, and why they finished over 20 point behind us.

Maggio and Zuniga are vital to their style.. Without pace on the flanks they'd have to rely solely on Cavani and his contra goals. He is a world class player but it would not be enough for them, hence they're looking for new flanks like Pereira, Ziegler etc

Lazio interested in Patience ,we want Diakite and apparently face competition from Torino for his signature who are prepared to make an offer for him..Hmm how about a swap deal ?

Then why haven't we been able to sell him? Same story as with Ziegle, nobody wants to pay such a fee for them, they'll take him on loan rather and ship him back to us after 12 months.

Diakite is cool. We should sign him.

I think there are two teams on Patience. Toro and Samp. While Ziegler is wanted by Napoli. Both could fetch us about 8m on the mercato, but only if they're sold before the last few days when teams will know that we are desperate to offload them.

We were promised a "star striker" so there are limits to what we as fans will accept! Negredo is not a star and this is most likely bullshit from the media. When Agnelli said we would sign a star striker for this season he must have put money aside for such a transfer! I believe our pockets are deep but it really depends on the chances that will appear. Llorente is a target because he's scored goals and is soon to be out of contract. He is a "star" in this context.

If the right opportunity appears we will strike! Either for Llorente, either for someone else. What really matters here is that Agnelli is not a footballing expert and so he would not accept a player he hasn't heard of! Negredo is such a player and therefore these rumors are not true.

You don't sign a €20m+ player in the final hours of the transfer window and a deal of this amount of money will take more then a day to work out - expect us to close in on someone before August 25th!

Even though I agree, aren't you sick of saying it? That's like the umpteenth time you've said the same thing?
That's rich coming from you :p

Last I read was toro wanting him on loan and them being unable to pay his wages and wanted us to pay a part too.

I'll bet you that neither of the two will be sold outright; they'll leave on loan with an option to buy :D

Jovetic will be either a PSG,City or a Chelsea player come next season.
My bet is on Chelsea.

I don't get how people can say they have improved their squad significantly.

Behrami and Gamberini are NOT great upgrades to the squad, and they lost their most influential player in Lavezzi. Mazzarri doesn't trust young payers, so we will barely see the likes of Vargas and Insigne.

I think the teams who have significantly upgraded their squads are RiommaMerda and ViolaMerda.
Exactly. Plus, as it's been mentioned they are still playing counterattacking footie so it will still be hard to beat the smaller teams that park the bus. Depth doesn't help there.

Fiorentina for one has really done some nice changes.

 I didn't mean to put the ?, my bad.
