Exactly my point. We don't need to be wasting our time on that competition. We might get lucky and win it once every 20 years. Soon enough, Serie A teams will be like the Dutch/French teams in Europe. Happy to be there, but not quite good enough to win it. It's really frustrating, and depressing really. Juventus being in the CL just to compete, and put on a good show; not really in it to win it. Perhaps that might change in the future, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

I agree unfortunately. Juve may have a chance to win it in say 5 years time if they keep investing in youth. In the long run, thats easier to achieve at least economically. But at the same time, the Barcelona, Real Madrid youth academies are not staying still and player like C. Ronaldo and Messi will still be playing at very hight levels for at least another 5 years.

We could probably get him for about £20m.
