If Suarez leaves Liverpool it won't be anything to do with them signing Dempsey.

Liverpool are apparently irked that Suarez has brought the whole Evra/Racism thing up again in an interview and they are in the middle of contract negotiations.

I still think it's entirely possible Suarez could leave Liverpool
