We don't need Pazzini, Matri is better.
I don't agree Matri is better, but there isn't much between them.

However, Conte preferred Borriello a lot to Matri, presumably because Borriello is more of a target man and more comfortable playing with his back to goal.

Matri is better at playing like that than Pazzini, I think, so one would think it odd to go for Pazzini in that regard.

However, if Juve were going to have players like Jovetic, Vucinic and Giovinco in the squad, there would be less need for the prima punta in the squad to be a target man as other players would be used if Conte wanted someone in that position to link the play.

Therefore, maybe the prima punta is just to be primarily a bench option to come on when Juve are struggling to get a goal in a game.

In that case, I'd take Pazzini over Matri, as I consider him a better pure goal-scorer.

So you're saying:

Pazzini
Quagliarella
Giovinco
Vucinic
Jovetic

for only two spots?

A bit too much I think. But sounds OK.
Looks good.

Don't think it's too much.

Pretty standard for a team in the CL to have five forwards playing for a couple of spots.

Serie A has figured Krasic out. He's an old-fashion limited winger.
Not sure it's that simple.

I think he still has a lot to offer a counter-attacking team, as there will be space for him to get up a head of steam and then he's pretty tough to stop.

He's not going to make an impact if he has to play in small spaces like Juve need their wingers to do, due to Juve dominating games under Conte.

Your assessment is very astute red!

A lot of people here must remember that Pazzini's agent is also Matri's agent. So the deal will be working on that basis. If we are sure about getting Pazzo then, I'm pretty sure Matri will be sacrificed and not Quag, as the former two are very similar in their play. While on the surface of it, Jovetic, Vucinic, Giovinco, Quag and Pazzini looks just about ok, I think it's a well balanced attack from a Serie a perspective but missing an Edin Dzeko from a CL perspective. Replace Pazzini with him and you've got one of Europe's top 6-7 front lines.

Cassano wants out, and to return to Sampdoria.

That's the new rumour now, if that were the case Milan would be completely finished.

(Not the best sources though, so take it with a grain of salt)

I'd be so happy if they lost Cassano...that scumbag team doesn't even deserve him.

I hate AC Milan more than I hate Inter.

I was waiting for his reaction. He has to be pissed. They are not selling just one, but two of their best players. He knows they are not gonna win anything for the next many years. I cant blame him, if he wanna leave.
