Appelt -> good player. Too young to send out on loan? Probably, Serie B clubs would be reluctant I think.

Pogba -> coming to the first team? Supposed to be stupidly good.

Marrone -> :tuttosport:
Now here's the question. Who's better, Marrone or Pogba?

Marrone has done extremely well for us for the handful of times that he's actually played. Fantastic assist and a goal or two if I'm not mistaken.

Hard to tell, I haven't seen Pogba for more than 15 minutes of game time in the Europa League. Pogba is seen as a bigger prospect currently than Marrone was at 19, if that helps.

Marrone is better of playing in an advanced position in my opinion..

Pogba is better of playing deep..I actually think Pogba is the better talent..His technical ability is insane.

Both players can play as an anchor, right?

I never want to get rid of Marrone. Liked him ever since his appearances a few seasons back. His movement reminds me of Marchisio a lot. Notice his one-two's going forward.

Perfect plan, lets keep Marrone for another reason after signing more CMs (3 potentially with Pogba prolly), after only playing two league games and two coppas entire of last season.

But last season there wasn't Champions League.

Conte will have to do some serious rotation this time, specially towards Pirlo. And in the end of the season Vidal was clearly exhausted...

This is exactly what i don't want to happen , i would feel bad for him and for us . It would be disrespectful to make the player remain even if he won't play and it would be a stupid decision to make him stay while you can send him to another team and make his value go up so we could sell him

Yup, that's basically what I've been saying in the Marrone thread. I don't really want him to go, but it would be best for everyone at this point.

We're gonna play in 3 competitions, possibly 3 games in 7-8 days, everyone will have their minutes. We see what happen to Marchi when he plays many games in a row, he's exhausted, Vidal and Pirlo will too.

After all, we need to ditch Padoin first, and then we can talk about Marrone.

Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah, Pogba, Isla, Verratti (Osman :D) and Marrone.

We have enough CMs to play in 5 competitions. Marrone should definitely not stay with us next season if we intend to use him in the future, for his and our own good.
