I know what you're saying, something in the vain of the Vidal signing this season, low cost but he had quality.

I thought you meant in the ilk of Van Persie, Dzeko or Cavani.

Vidal was a player I was tempted to use, but he had an expiring contract which factored in the price.

Milito would fall under players that aren't considered star signings. He had a career of being a great scorer for Zaragoza and Genoa before someone took the chance on him, and I think €25m is affordable.

Lewandowski, Huntelaar, Doumbia, Cissé, Giroud. Those few players interest me, might have missed some. I'm not aware of how strong Dortmund and Schalke are in the transfer market though.

Same lineup, we just got depth. Licht is better than Isla and Vidal is better than Armero. Also Vuci is better than Gio. The only place we can improve on is attack or LB.

Buffon and Thuram were flippin awesome in a really good Parma team that should've won more than their solitary uefa cup. Cannavaro was also pretty awesome and we were lucky to snatch him from Inter. And we paid A LOT for them by that time's standard.

Yes but they were not considered WC until they won with us. Also they were paid that much because we had the money and cache to do it. We are nowhere near the same club we are in rebuilding mode now that Juve was the king of the Calcio world
