We made them into the WC players they were when we bought them they were good players
That is nonsense..Nedved was golden boy of Lazio and had won a no.of trophies with them,Parma were a top team with WC players and no mentions to Cannavaro..

All those players were world class and were in the peak of their game before we bought them.

You're responding to me ?

Why?I think Vucinic can definitely hold up play and take on defenders better than Destro or Matri for sure.
Vucinic has the highest turnover rate in Serie A last season, and i think of the highest in the major leagues in Europe as well. He is not known for possession because he does try those fancy passes that hardly makes it most of the time.

How do you find them without spending 30+ million, especially in attack.
Don't purchase someone as established as van Persie or Cavani. If they're not prepared to spend money on someone with a high transfer fee and wages all isn't lost.

It could be Destro, who knows? Maybe he'll become a class centre forward, he already looks good.

Actually, look at someone like Diego Milito and what his impact was even at 29/30 when he signed for Inter.

Giroud's far from a big name. We should scout SA for strikers ala Chicharito. Good movement in the box, speed, and finishing. That's all.
i know and i did mean that when i said we don't need to go to the big names. we make them! and i find the guy a good lad to be big name in the future with great team like juve.

Borini is quick and runs nonstop, but he is bit technically limited and doesnt really link up well with others. But decent finisher besides the physical qualities.
he reminds me of Pedro both not my fav kind of players. no brain :D

If Giovinco and Destro repeated last seasons goal tally and we repeated our last season goal tally.
That doesn't make sense, you know? Because Giovinco and Destro need playing time to score 25 goals and with playing time they will be replacing two of our starters last season. Let's say you want to add up the goals, they have to replace two players that did not score a single goal and that would be Buffon and whom? Otherwise it won't be 25 goals more.

dont see any World Player of the Year winners that we could sell in the current squad...unless we are willing to sell Pirlo.
All I'm saying is that we have bought players before. World class players. That's a weak excuse.

Inter paid 25 million for Milito no? :p

I know what you're saying, something in the vain of the Vidal signing this season, low cost but he had quality.

I thought you meant in the ilk of Van Persie, Dzeko or Cavani.

Yes, you're right. Sorry.

Vidal's a CM. Strikers cost a LOT more, that's just a fact. A striker from Bundesliga of Vidal's quality would cost double what Vidal cost.

It seems we have two sides of this discussion here. One side who wants total squad reinforcement and solid quality players and the other side which will not be happy until we fill Juve with " names"
Nope. I am perfectly happy with the current mercato if we get Destro, but Cavani would be the cherry on the cake.

Like most people here, I'd like an establish striker, but I woundn't mind Destro. In fact, I think he'll turn out to be a very very good striker with us.
