Reality check or not, Destro is in no way or shape acceptable as the main signing for our attack, its not either spending 40m on big name or Destro, there are other medium options to look at other then pining it on a young player who just had his real first senior season.

How fickle you $#@!ers are. Less than a week ago, everyone was fapping to a new star forward signing, and all of a sudden you have resigned yourselves to accepting Destro as that man? Really?

How the $#@! did we have the money two weeks ago, but not now?  Why was it possible not so long ago, but is now impossible?

I will only believe what Mark has to say from now on. All you other $#@!ers are just speculating :p
Hey I have been telling you that none of the big guys were coming and that destro and verratti were, why you no trust me :(

But everybody is under the presumption that Destro is the main signing for the attack.

I don't see it that way.

Regardless of how Conte feels about him (And reportedly, he is requesting him), he is a smart enough man to realize that throwing a 21 year old to the wolves like that will only do damage to his burgeoning career

Who would you propose that is realistically in our reach?

I know and agree, and btw, dont think the club will do this at all. What I find bewildering is now some posters here are trying to convince themselves and others its ok if we only sign Destro for the attack, no way hose.

Honestly if conte doesn't want any of these big names and he truly believes juve will be better without them I don't see why some of you believe otherwise. At this point conte knows whats best for the team and his system

You're just winding up to suggesting keeping Boriello, aren't you.
that has nothing at all to do with what I'm talking about. I just see the mood on here starting to turn sour and all because they want some big name forward, when in reality its almost not happening and the names have been more the media linking them to Juve than actually Juve wanting them or making moves. I think conte has had a strategy all along and if his strategy last year got us scudetto then I will trust phase 2

There are plenty they can look at, aslong as they invest as they should and said they would in our main weak area, scoring goals. It wont exactly be impossible to sign likes of Dzeko, Lewandoski, Damiao or other possible striker options that may arise when the market really starts going. Someone who can lead the attack, Destro is looked at to grow in the team, not immediately lead the attack. I am pretty sure we will be signing a main striker after we sold our dead weight. It wont prolly be Cavani, Higuain or RVP at all, but atleast someone who shown some consistency infront of goal recently.

yilmaz scored 32 goals in 30 matches for trabzonspor..... if thats what you mean within our reach.. because he is 26 years old and transfermarkt rates him 12 million..
Dont know him as a player, but those kinda names prolly can be considered, but when it comes to him he is close to Lazio or Tottenham it seems.

What would you think about signing Huntelaar?

I have followed Destro all season, and all you need to do is look at that thread to see my opionions on him :D. But even someone as delusional as myself, know that Destro as the main striker, for next season at least, is setting Juve up for a whole lot of hurt next year.

This + When the big money clubs start buying we will see alot of available players appear on the market. Maybe Dzeko from City or maybe somebody unexpecting.

One thing is certain. We do need that goalscorer and there are alot of better options out there than Matri (and Destro).
