Direct from Australia, father and agent of Troisi was interviewed by theworldgame.sbs.com.au. Here are his words:
"We are talking to Juventus and hopefully we can close the deal so that Troisi can go to Pescara on loan. The plan is for him to then return to Juventus after 1 year. It's not totally certain but we are hoping that it will be resolved in the next week. James has made a decision and hopefully it all goes well."

If I were to take a guess at where he is going with this, let's not all assume that it is just Destro that he is referring to.

I believe that the club is looking for a young player who can help now and for the next 7-8 years.

If I were a betting man, I would put my money on Jovetic being that player that he is referring to.

Players such as Jovetic are still quite young, and on reasonable wages that could easily be doubled by coming to Juventus.

That is my thought, anyway,a s I have always felt deep down inside that the likes of Van Persie, Cavani (unfortunately), and Higuain (Unfortunately, again) were going to cost too much in regards to transfer fees and wages.

Verratti's transfer has become more complicated.

And Marotta stated that they're not going after high paid players. That the last winners in Italian football have the worst balance sheets.

I'm really starting to forget the top striker idea... FUCK!!! It was the most important thing to do..

The market is still very long. Wait till we sign our dead wood (Melo, Krasic, Elia, etc) and possibly one of Matri and Quag for the right price, then we will be in a financial position to go for a 20+ striker.

Interesting news, although I feel it's mostly BS. However, if Marotta does fail to get a big name striker/Top Player come August 31'st, I shall unleash hell, and all forms of abusive language & profanity at the one eyed wonder.

We need a world class player in attack to signal our intent; I don't care if we have to sell Matri, Quag, and fuck off Borriello to whichever shithole he came from, but we need that clinical player in attack. He was, remains, and will continue to be the priority.

Cavani/Higuain this year, and JoJo/Suarez the next, or vice-versa, and I'll praise Marotta. I expect nothing less; we are Juventus, not some shitty mediocre team. We are back in the CL, have a new stadium, and are unbeaten Serie A champs. We had the likes of Zidane, Baggio, Sivori, Del Piero, and Platini donning our jersey. We need to go back to targeting and acquiring players of such caliber again :agree:

Mehdi Benatia may leave Udinese. Yesterday Napoli enquired about him to see if he was available. The player from class '87 is liked also by Juventus but his value is too high - minimum 20 million euro.
