directly from the halls of the Hilton Hotel in Milan bounce off the first drafts of an offer to the label of Sebastian Giovinco. The Parma wants 15 million for his half. Inter the window is monitoring the situation but does not intend to spend a total of 30 million for the entire tag Fantasista and could reach up to 18-20 million cash. Now it's up to Juve to decide what to do: surrender or assignment? In the next hours the meeting. Updates will follow.

15M, should we do it or let him rot at Parma?
for 15 milions i would sell him in a blink , still nobody in their right minds would give 15 mil for giovinco's half and parma can't offer that amount for our half unless they have a big team supporting them and the only team which seems interested in giovinco seems to be merda who are in a very bad financial state and would never give 30 mil for giovinco

We'll get him for less than 15 mil €, but even that wouldnt be a terrible deal, as they paid us around 3.5 mil € for his half, meaning that we'd pay 12 mil € for his development, and it would be much cheaper than buying a player of his qualities, which would go for at least 20-25 mil €.

So yeah, buy him. Although the price wont be 15 mil €, more likely 8 + a few co-owns or loans.

so he was worth about 7m last season. and now you think he is worth atleast 20-25m. his season was not that good. Take away his 4-5 (?) penalties and his stats are now longer that impressive.

They gave him playing time, which is something that we didnt want to or couldnt do. The question is not what they did, the question is if we can get a player of a similar quality for the same price. and for 10-12 mil € we cant.

He was worth 7 mil € two seasons ago, whenw e gave them the option. With or without his penalties the stats are impressive as he was not the goal-scoring striker and has a fair number of assists. He was by far Parmas best player. His stats are better than Vucis.

Gaston would cost about €15m.

Erm...... In theory yes but Vidal is positioned as CM with freedom to move forward - in this formation Vidal would be playing like Sneijder. So no. And stop asking people to watch more football when it's pretty clear to everyone you're wrong yet again. This whole Vidal thing seems a little more then you can comprehend but I can repeat myself for your sake; Vidal at LWB was an idea, not even proposed by me, I backed it, but then again. Why do we even have a forum when we can't discuss anything new without being mocked down by people, only replying newcomers' posts.. :sergio: You my friend, why are you even here?

I can't comment to multiple accusations at the same time. Read this if you react on my posts..
Vidal is positioned as the highest midfielder in the MVP trio. He's the first to defend and when Juve begin attack, he's the first to go forward, doing so, he always in AM position (but not play like a real one). That's just a formation, he in AM position, he stretch the defence, drew defender out, back pass to Pirlo. Conte always uses him like that so i don't see what wrong when people place him as a AM. But you say that playing him out of position, make me think you don't watch football or Juve much. Ok i'm sorry if you feels offended, i don't mean anything like that my friend. But you have some weird ideal IMO :D

vuci stats: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/vucinic/profil/spieler_6448.html

gio: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/sebastian-giovinco/profil/spieler_52312.html

As you can see gio played over 3000 minutes of serie a football. Also teams doesnt "park the bus" when playing parma. Which means more space and more chances for the forwards.

Vuci played about 2200 minutes of serie a football. Thats about 800 minutes LESS than gio. Against juve many teams did park the bus, which lead to much of the match beeing played agains a defence in balance.
it is more difficult to score against teams which play 10 men behind the ball, and that leaves little space to run and less chances. Vuci also didnt take the penalties, all the corners and all the freekicks, like gio did at parma.

Perhaps, but likely he'd cost more, and he has nowhere near the stats of Gio, who had a much better season and almost got his club to europe.
Gaston will have similar stats to giovinco's last season (11-12) this season (12-13). Plus he is 6'0 and is 21.

I still don't agree. Vidal is not anything near an attacking midfielder. Marchisio is just as much of an AM as Vidal in that case. Vidal has defensive duties too and that is not something you would ever see from an attacking midfielder. When playing him "out of position" then what exactly do you mean - is it a position he can't play or a position where he's not top class and natural? For Chile he's been playing CB, SS and even winger so I don't see why we shouldn't at least take a look at his abilities at LWB. But like I said before, Vidal at LWB was only an idea, not a statement! I rate PDC way lower then you guys obviously do - that's got nothing to do with how much football you watch or how big a juventus fan you are. It's a matter of opinion - I ask of a LWB to track back defensively OR being able to cut it and dribble like Marcelo etc.. Neither is PDC good at IMO - fine crossers but tha's just not enough for this level and ambition.
