Yeah, we are building a squad that looks like it can cover numerous positions in the 3-5-2 and 4-3-3. The only real necessities seem to be the big striker plus a left back that is comfortable also as a wing back.

The other issue is that of the right wing forward in the 4-3-3. I'm not expecting Conte to use Giovinco and Vucinic as an 'attacking option' in this formation, as opposed to the 'balanced option' with Pepe and Vucinic. So it either calls for another player there, or going straight to 3-5-2 if Pepe isn't fit.

Do you guys think that Bocchetti could cover the LWB position? he's not the most technical player but he's got pace and that way we could reinforce both CB and LWB positions with one sigining.
Absolutely not, he is a CB who can cover LB at best, consider that for a second, with all that entails, a CB who can cover LB, nothing more, defensive option, not not forward. He has better technique and passing then Chiellini, so thats why he has been tried there a bit (good with the ball for a CB), but I would honestly still prefer Chiellini on the left flank because he runs alot down the flank in his lumbering way, while Bocchetti is more of a Chivu, decent left foot, but is too slow and static to cover a flank.

He means the Willem kid.

And Garfield, your out column doesnt make sense, you sign 3 attackers in RVP, Destro and Gio, and only release Borriello? Quag and Matri would for sure leave too in that scenario.
