I can't understand neglecting the continents of Australia and Antarctica, but no Asia or Africa?!
We did pick up an Aussie kid, although he played in a tournament in Italy. Obviously some Italian-Aussie.

Non-EU passports makes scouting Africa and Asia a low priority for youth players. Buying players over 21 from African or Asian teams would also be low priority. Pretty much all the South American kids we pick up have EU passports.

I think it'd still be worthwhile to scout for talent in Korea, Japan, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, etc... every once in a while. No harm there :D
Half of the better central/western Africans have already found their way to Italian youth/lower league football anyway :D

With east Asian players there is a lot of adapting required, which means you are better looking directly at the J-League and K-League and getting them when they are 19-24 and more mature. They cost relatively nothing anyway. Kagawa cost Dortmund €0.3m. The most expensive would be €2m max.

Why are we even bothering scouting Sweden? I'm Swede and I can tell you for sure that there's nothing here to be seen. The only few, not even handful, of promising players are far from Juve material. Waste the cash on some place else.

Maybe a dumb question but why not follow more former Soviet countries, like Poland? Are we assuming maybe that Germany already have "control over the operations" there? Since most players from that area usually plays in either Germany or Russia.

Save money on our scouts and sack them cos realistically we all do a better job here with the old scouting. And least that way we'll afford "top players" wages. Bingo!!

I hope what Paratici said wasn't entirely true. Giving away scouting strategies like that to the media is a bit idiotic.

They're obviously looking for something like these:
