After everyone we were linked to? Dzeko, Llorente, JoJo and the other pipedreams, you're ok with Carbozo!? Agreed about 'top' player definition. But even as a tactical fit, he's not all that IMO. Could be doing better. Fuckin' a. I thought you'd be more disappointed.

Maybe we can get both. Sell Matri, get Cardozo and Džeko/Llorente? that would be around 30-35 mil for the two of them, sell Matri for 12-15 mil €.

Disappointed about what? A sports club? Nah. Juve mean a lot to me, but not to the point where me ranting and raving would do me even a bit of good.


Sure, it's not the sexy choice, but we are not talking about a guy who only did it for one year out of the last several seasons. He's consistent, plays well in Europe, and still has a couple of prime years left in him. For that price, it is a good deal. He's not a worldbeater, but he gets the job done. At this point I want the prima punta to be efficient, and he is that.

I've seen him play a lot. Not by choice, per se, as my brother in law ins Portugese and a huge Benfica fan, so I humor him and sit in to watch their matches. I've been doing so for the last 9 years, actually.


he is slow, and will do little to build up the play, although it is not for lack of effort.

Thing is, when he gets a shot on goal, either with his foot or head, he rarely misses
