Haters!I always had a soft spot for Bocchetti ever since his Azzurrini days. I haven't seen him at Kazan though. Always was under the impression that he's a pretty solid defender, plus he could help out at LB.

I could live with Alves, Kjaer basically sucked everywhere, brainless defender.

Rubin want 6m for Bocchetti. Really surprising the response he gets. He's a pretty decent acquisition for that kind of money. Kjaer has been offered to us by Wolfsburg. But Marrotta and Paratici aren't convinced if his abilities. Again, I think he's been shit, but he's got potential without the right set up in place to help him grow. His career graph is kind of similar to Barzagli and ironically they were both highly rated at Palermo. Zapata is another name mentioned, and I'd take him in a heartbeat, he'd come at around 5m. Best value for money deal IMO and more than excellent backup option with Caceres, Chiellini, Barzagli and Lucio. I'm not convinced by Masi, and I dint think Juve are either. He's not ready for such a big season.

Just another overhyped Italian DC

He's the new Gilardino when it comes to Juve transfers.
how have we not been linked with him this window he is such a typical juventus 2007-2012 type of cheap, good but not great italian poacher forward who would guarantee 10-15 goals a season. he has juventus written all over him. i could see him potentially coming in if we get a bg player and decide to sell matri/quags and the pazzini deal falls through, its unlikely but possible

Hey fellow Champs, I'm having this argument with my brother about what happens when a player (any player) enters
the last 6 months of his contract.. without reaching an agreement with his club yet.. what's next?

what are his options?
what are the clubs options?

anybody can help end this silly argument?

Buffon
Barzagli - Vidic - Chiellini
Isla - Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio - Armero
Vucinic - Giovinco

Oh, please Beppe, make it happen.

I would prefer anyone over Bocchetti, I can't wait for the day he retires so we would stop hearing his name.
Honestly, if i would say that, you know what your response would have been??
Anyways, i agree, he is considered, ONLY, for all the wrong reasons, this is the reason i criticise our past behavior...
thankfully, those days are over!
