I'm not disputing that he potentially might be; all I'm saying is that we have a chance for JoJo/Suarez at the expense of Dzeko, I'd totally go for that deal instead, and postpone the CF purchase to next season when we could potentially get someone better in Higuain/Cavani.

However, if we get Dzeko + Ramirez for example, I'd be happy. Dzeko alone, while an upgrade, is not a huge upgrade, or a top star/top draw signing. I like him as a striker, and he scores goals, but his limitations are there for all to see. I'd prefer someone more dynamic, and who can be more of an impact player, change a game with a touch, a drop of a shoulder, or provide us with moments of brilliance and unpredictability. JoJo and Suarez can offer that; Dzeko simply can't.

Oh, and fuck Liverpool (and I feel that report is absolute BS)!

We agree to disagree then. I'd rather get Suarez/JoJo and add Higuain/Cavani next season. We just won the Serie A (undefeated might I add), and I don't think anything can top that (unless we win the treble next year) :D

I'm willing to wait 2-3 more years to be major player in Europe again. JoJo/Suarez + Cavani/Higuain and we are set in attack for the next 7 years at least; Dzeko alone isn't enough.

:klin:

JoJo man. Suarez   Two of my absolute favorite players currently playing football. Is it too much to ask for one of them? We used to have Baggio, Del Piero, Platini, Zidane. I want someone who can make us dream, bring the romanticism back into football, and wear our jersey for years to come :sigh:

I'd pick Jojo over Dzeko any time of the day. We might need Dzeko more but Jojo is a class above. We can always get someone like Dzeko next year. Plus, all the young talent is leaving Italy. That's just sad.

I don't believe the BS about JoJo going to Liverpool. Where are these fuckers getting the money from anyway? They haven't won shit for years, and haven't even been in the CL for the past 2 seasons.

We have Pirlo for the moment and most likely Verratti for the future :klin:

I don't know. Maybe they're selling Gerrard to Chelsea for a lot of money :seven:

If Lucio is signed, we free up some transfer fund. What other position would you feel we need to strengthen ? There would be the obvious choice of CF.

Can we go on without a LB to compete with De Ceglie? Maybe Esti will be our signing on the left side is that sufficient?
I would like to be greedy and hopefully we sign a RW as well if we cash in Pepe.

We shouldn't submit a bid for Dzeko even if it was the last option in the world. He has a brilliant career in Man City and his price is going to hit rock bottom very soon.
Balotelli will bench him. He just exploded - he is going nowhere and is by far the better striker.
Aguero, Tevez - let's hope they sell one of them, cause Dzeko is set for no more than 15 appearances if they stay.
RVP/Cavani - Dzeko shoud hire a voodoo doctor in this case. One of them arrives and he is going to be not Edin ' Loan' Dzeko, but Mnogo 'Loans' Dzeko.

If some team wants him I would say this winter would be the best bet for getting him on the cheap.

We can't wait for winter for a CF and winter signings are generally more expensive than summer. The best would wait until someone signs RVP up this summer, and the chain reaction will kick in then.
If RVP stays in Arsenal , Marotta would have to play the cards well.
