I'm reading all sorts of stuff on TMW in regards to Verratti, especially the parts where it says that he only wants Juventus.

Any truth to this?

Shouldn't you be praying at your shrine to Berlusconi for presenting such a gift to you fans?

The gift of keeping a player that was already yours to begin with? :D

Yes. He rejected Inter, Napoli and also Genoa. Milan too... Oh wait they cannot afford him :p

Nice.

Now, off to celebrate by buying some tacos

you are reading those things on the TJ section, aren't you? :D
Tutto Mercato Web is where I read it. Now, where they got it from, I don't know.

Those same two players who would probably start in Milan's midfield tomorrow, you mean.

Lets see your team if they sign Isla and Asamoah, eh ;)
they are good players but will add mostly depth to Juve and not raise the level of quality. Plus they are largely unproven outside playing for a lesser team in Serie A. Isla can take over from Licht in the 352 in home games and be an improvement but that's about it ... Asamoah will be nothing more than a back-up to Marchisio/Vidal and even then, the team would lose in threat on offense, as he is a dynamic mid but pretty one-dimensional.
Isla may be able to fill in at a number of positions, but that doesn't mean he is great at it.

Overall, they are good players, who are yet to prove themselves at a higher level but you are not exactly getting them on the cheap.

This being said, had Milan signed them, Milan fans would have also been over the moon but then again, that doesn't mean they would be right.

Any more freebies in the midfield that Milan are looking at?

I generally agree with you regarding Asamoah here, even though I think he would be a good backup, and even though I can't tell if you're mildly trolling :D

no, I am being very serious - they are good players but again, Juve are paying a pretty penny for both and people here letting the enthusiasm of these signings get to them quite easily
