Because he would have come forward and admit it "yes, we are going to sell him to our most hated rival", that in the middle of the season when they're chasing CHL.

no but but if he had any intention to open up communication with Juve he would have said nothing at all.
It was clear at the end of last summer fiorentina won't sell to us, admit it some here were reading too much between the lines, this whole he would like to stay in Italy statement means absolutely nothing other than the fact some are still clutching draws and think there is still hope for Jovetic. you can offer fiorentina 30,40,50 mill and they will still say no, there is too much tension between ourselves and their management that won't change any time soon and thats before you have to realise the consequences the viola board will have to face by their own fans
