Rossi is a great player but we need a prima punta. Not another SS. I would prefer either a Dzeko ro enable is to play with more options or a Higuain who can kill in the box. If we don't get anything similar to those but instead play Matri we'll instead need someone who can score a lot of goals from wide/ss. Since Vucinic and Matri don't score enough but are useful and valuable on the pitch. Then we can go for a Rossi IMO

i read that rossi can go for 15mil euros...im not in favour of him as a marquee signing but if we can bring it down to 10-12 mil he would be a good signing in addition to our marquee signing off course...ir its true we'll be releasing quags and of course boriello and with del piero retiring (i hope not) there is actually room for rossi in addition to other signings in the forward line...

Come ooon. Don't be niggling and trying to save money =) the purchasing of new top rated forward is a decicive thing for us before CL. So the price has not to be important. Also I reckon that if we are going to develope our attacking line we have to buy only one player. Because stability is also important.

what stability? as i said, when players move on what forward options will we have to compete with in CL/Serie A?

I mean to say that stability is when club doesn't change their squad on a half every year. So i would rather not to drop out Quag than spend a decent sum of money on Rossi.
options to compete in CL and serie A?) And now with Borriello and DP who is not playing at all in serie A we have so many options to compete??? =) I think that having Pepe, Vicninc Matri, Giacherini, Quag and new TOP forward will be more than enough.

I've no idea what I've just made, bored at Friday work.

Looking at the cost of buying two big attacking players plus a good midfielder to rotate with our starting three, plus a back up DC, plus a DL, I'd say that it seems more likely we will only go for one ~€25m striker and one ~€15m support striker/winger.
