You lost me there, bro :lol:

Oh and there's a difference between their youngsters and our youngsters.. Libertazzi is barely good enough for a Serie B side.

Which young players from the academy has United or Madrid promoted into the first team?
Why don't you tell us that?

Everytime we sell 50% of our player, I feel as if they're good as gone. Giovinco might be a special case, who knows what will happen there, but usually we lose the player.

I'm a Madrid fan too so I'll answer this... these are youth products who're in their first team:

Casillas
Adan
Arbeloa
Granero
Callejon

Next year they'll give Morata or Jese the 3rd striker's role. The two have already played bit parts in this season. In a year or two, I think they'll recall either Canales or Sarabia from loan, depending on who does better. However, Canales is a product of Racing Santander.

Madrid are a lot better at developing youth than United/Arsenal/Liverpool/Chelsea/Milan/Inter and even Juventus. Not many people give them enough credit because of the galactico purchases and because so many youth don't get a proper chance there. More recently, they've let go of some very good youth players like Mata, Jurado, Soldado, Negredo and Rodrigo. With the exception of Rodrigo, all these guys were developed in Madrid's academy. Not poached from other clubs like the English clubs do.

Next summer - Team with highest stamina, natural fitness and speed: :tuttosport:

Buffon
Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Chiellini - Cissokho(15M)
Vidal - Pirlo - Asamoah(15M)
Pepe - Higuian(30M) - Lavezzi(30M)
Players in: 90M

Players out:58M
Ziegler = 2M
Melo = 10M
Krasic = 8M
Elia = 8M
Quag = 10M
Martinez = 2M
Pazienza = 4M
Motta = 2M
Iaquinta = 2M
Ekdal's half = 3M
Giandonato = 2M
Padoin = 5M

That is an total expenditure of 30M, but since our overall wagebudget would slighty decrease AND if we qualify directly for CL, it would be possible.
Also, since I used an conservative approach in pricing the value of "players out", this shows that we indeed have funds for 2 quality strikers/wingers while still streghtening the midfield and defence.

Personally, I would prefer Lavezzi/Jovetic for LW, Asamoah/Naingollan for CM and Cissokho/Kolarov/Pereira/Ansaldi for LB.

Finally, can anyone give an estimate of how much they believe our wagebudget would decrease, if all players that are rumored out this summer, will actually leave?
And how much would a new quality ST, LW, CM and LB cost in additional wages?

Yeah. The midfield is the least of our problems. Our defense is also set for now, unless a major quality LB is available; I still feel we should make a major CB acquisition in the summer of 2013, and not next summer, as Barzagli has been doing exceptionally well. Our attack, however, is the major problem. Pepe is all hard work, no skill or talent, Vucinic is the opposite, but a lazy SOB, and our strikers can't find the net, even if we blindfolded the opposing goalkeeper.

Hence, we need 2 major upgrades in attack, and with a few minor tweaks in defense and midfield, we should remain largely competitive for the coming season.

Callejon was actually sold and than bought again . And we are not that bad with the youth to say it really , the last wave of youngsters was reallly good marchisio , giovinco , nocerino , criscito , de ceglie . Not wc but good players .

For a youngster, Destro would be ideal.
:agree: i really like him

Selling Immobile's 50% to buy Destro would be nonsense to me.
They would not sell immobile's other half they would just buy destro

I think we sold immobile 50% to buy boakye in summer . They would still not sell his other half to buy destro , they would just buy him or buy his half from siena . The point is that you control as many youngers as you can so that in the end someone really good will come out . You keep him and sell the rest .
