Pepe is effective, given his lack of ability. And I'm not trolling this time.

Rossi for cheap (let's say 15m), sell Quag (let's say 10m), fuck off AIDSman, we'll probably be stuck with Matri. That leaves us with Rossi and Matri for only -5m. So we can still upgrade the left wing position with a big name while improving the CF position.

Edit: or use Rossi in a left-ish role and get a star CF.

How is Rossi so much better than Quag anyways? I'd rather have a youth player take the third spot CF, someone like Libertazzi or whoever is available. That's how you're supposed to do it. Look at Madrid, Barca, United. They all use young players from the academy as a way of awarding them when they've done good. It keeps confidence and motivation high.

Whadya mean 'how'? He just is a much better player than Quag (especially the current version) is. I actually doubt we can get Quag sold for as much as 10; can only see the Fiorentinas and Genoas going for him.

And what 3rd spot? I mean Rossi for the 1st spot. Who do we have that's as good as those teams' players anyway? Immobile maybe? I just wish we could sell Matri for close to what we paid for him.
