I forgot Caceres. :)

But yeah, I think it looks good too. Reinforcing all departments of the squad and significantly upgrading our attack with Higuain/Dzeko

Buffon
Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Chiellini - De Ceglie
(Caceres) - (Bonucci) - (Astori) - (Chiellini)
Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio
(Marrone) - (pogba/Verratti) - (Giaccherini)
Giovinco - Higuain/Dzeko - Vucinic
(Pepe) - (Matri) - (Elia)
fixed and it looks Perfect for me

If we get a Pirlo replacement, it should be someone younger. Why put our focus on replacing our best player when there are much shittier players, like Pepe, that need replaced long before Pirlo does.

Pirlo still has another 2 strong years I'd say.

Let's metamorphisize our offense like the sleeping caterpillar until a strong vibrant butterfly awing it's spectators. :touched:
I read somwhere we are interested in verrati , he is supposed to be the new pirlo . Get him and let him grow next to pirlo for the next 2 years and we have a champ raised at home

Totally worth it

Don't see how it would work, Hernanes likes to play up field. much like a Trequartista.

If we drop Pirlo, we won't have anyone capable of bringing the ball from the defence ( Marchisio and Vical aren't good enough to do that). And we can't drop one of Claudio or Arturo because our MF will be too vulnerable because Hernanes won't offer much defensive cover.
I could see him doing an alright job in the Marchisio role, but I doubt he'd be as effective while playing off Pirlo (the better player).

Wasn't Appelt supposed to be the new Pirlo? Then Awesome Boy? Stop prostituting Pirlo's name ffs.
No . Appelt was never supposed to be the new pirlo . First he is not italian so find his brazilian counter part . Second he is not like pirlo , not a pure fantasy playmaker , he has less fantasy but can also tackle and help more in defense . I have only told that he is a xabi alonso type of player to make a comparision .

I wouldn't take hernanes , on the other hand if jovetic is sane and doesn't have physical problems i would take him in a blink , he will become on of the best in the world . Hummels is just :tuttosport:

But with hummels we will probably always play with 3 man in defense , unless you want to send him in the bench , wich would be a shame

Xabi Alonso is Pirlo, just with faster legs and slightly worse passing. IDENTICAL type of player though.

only player capable of doing Pirlo's job to some extent, that's why we shouldn't bother looking for Pirlo's replacement, but to get an attacking midfielder and play the 4-2-1-3 (you mentioned earlier) when Pirlo's not available/rested.

Pirlo has more fantasy and is better at dictating the timing of passes . Pirlo is the better playmaker .

Similar not identical. Xabi does more defensive work, Better long range passer and less creative than Pirlo tough.
Xabi better long range passer ?

Only player to do pirlo's job to some extent is xavi not xabi

DDR can do it too. I still want him, if we need to break our budget by 1000% :D

Xavi likes to lurk around behind opposition box rather than sitting deep infornt of defence and dictate the play whole game. Mind you I'm not talking about creativity here but the role of play.

Yeah him too but this:
DDR won`t join any other Italian Club.

For sure
