- we have spend far over our income for 3 years in a row to get competitive. we reached our goal and made CL
- to be financially healty, we cant continue to overspend
- 25 mil + surely over 20 mil player sales, gives us around 50 mil for sales, with wage budged avaible since a few big earners leave the team.
- Team base is done, all it needs is a significant upgrade up front. possible with that budged
- and some quality subs since we play 3 competitions next year


sorry, but 50 mil budged whilst beeing financially correct, is for teams with a much, much bigger turnover then we currently have

If we get rid of Vidic from that line its possible. Instead sign a decent backup that could play as a CB.

10M + 8M + 12M = 30M

If Villareal get relegated we could get even a better price.

If Conte plans to play 3 at the back more often and we can get Vidic for the right price I'd go for it. Yeah, seems far fetched. Well probably go for a cheaper option like Astori or something.

Wel, considering turnover, there is no transferbudged.

I think that like past years, they'd want to net spend around 50 mil, and player sales +25 mil gets you there.

Considering finances, i think they are right not to increase the debt for the sake of CL.

group stages this year, and requalifying for CL, that should be the big objective for next season

Considering villareal isnt a great team, he has a decent scoring record, good assist rate, and aftetr he got injured, they became relegation material

says alot for his role in the team

I suppose you work on the board, don't you? Conte said he wanted a one World Class purchase, and one promising prospect with superstar potential. Rossi doesn't fit either category; the coach wanted guys like Nani, Sanchez, and Aguero last summer, but we couldn't compete, largely due to the fact that we were coming off another disastrous season, and had no CL. A lot of big players were unsure which direction we were heading in. Hopefully now, with Conte as coach, and a potential double at the end of the season, and CL next season, we can attract that one big game player, and the supporting prospect that Conte has asked for.

Rossi doesn't fall into either category. He is no longer a prospect, and he is definitely not World Class. I'll trust Conte more than your BS fabrications any day of the week. As for unrealsitic suggestions, I'll wait for the market to decide that, not some waffle eating Belgian behind a screen who couldn't even watch a Juventus game cuz he was too busy shagging his gf.
