he has additional qualities that is true he is faster he has a better taclking but he doesn't have neither pirlos touch vision and fantasy in fact no one has
pirlo is the best in the world as a regista
He does have both Pirlo's touch and creativity, saying anything else is just stupid. We have the 2nd best regista in the world, which is fucking awesome if you ask me.

If I had to choose three players to take over Pirlo's spot:

1) Sahin
2) De Rossi
3) Marrone

Sahin and De Rossi for obvious reasons. But I'm really excited to see Marrone grow as a player, he wouldn't be a Pirlo clone, I would say he's more of a De Rossi type, but he definitely has a career ahead of him. Conte says he doesn't want to get rid of him which makes me even more excited.

Buffon
Lichtsteiner Barzagli Chiellini Caceres
Vidal Sahin Marchisio
Ramirez Jovetic Vucinic

Subs: Storari, Bonucci, De Ceglie, Marrone, Nainggolan, Pepe, Matri/Quag

Cost: Caceres (8M), Sahin (20M), Ramirez (10M), Nainggolan (10M), Jovetic (25M)
Total: 73M
Out: Del Piero (0), Motta (2M), Grosso (0M), Krasic (12M), Melo (13M), Iaquinta (3M) , Martinez (2M), Elia (6M), Giaccherini (6M), Esti (4M), Pazienza (0), Boriello (0), Matri/Quag (15M)
Total: 63M

Maybe those values are generous, but even if you lessen the values we can make some money off those sales and help fund for a big mercato in the summer. Also, if we get into CL, new stadium revenues, etc.

But who am I kidding - that's way too optimistic.

i don't understand where pirlo is ?
if we get someone to get pirlos place he will take it when pirlo won\t be able to walk anymore . I see people benching him all the time and that ain't happening anytime soon
if that is the formation after 3 years , when pirlos time will probably come (maybe he will play even more who knows) than barzagli won't be there , he will become to old and i still have my doubts about chiellini

second all your values are probably wrong

giac is not ours , we own only half , first we need to buy the next half , than see for how much he sell so pratically we buy the other half for 2-3 sell him for 6 and we make 3-4 milion , althrough i doubt he is going conte likes him
esti is not ours he is on loan , if marotta sells him for 4 milion than he is a mage seeing as he can sell players that aren't ours . we have the right to buy him through fixed at 4 or 5 mil don't remember well
pazienza at 0 ? that is dumb his contract isn't ending why let him go at 0 when we can sell him and make profit
matri/quag don't think quag can sell for that althrough i believe that is his value , but he has had the injury and benched and ect so his value has lowered a lot as for matri i think you can sell him at that price but don't know who would buy him and if you want to sell him and nobody wants him you will sell him for a lower price

sahin 20 mil ? are you crazy i would never spend that kind of money on him real got him for 10 since he had 1 year left of contract but still he has been injured if i am correct and althrough he has a super team ahead of him he has been mostly on bench from what i have seen so why should we go and offer 20 mil for him , our players value always decrases when they stay on bench why the hell should we go and pay him 20 mil plus seeing as most of the time real usually sells their players for low . i say max 15 mil for sahin
naingolan from 12-15 but there is a great probability we will insert players
ramirez for 10 mil you can dream about it at least 15 mil but with hope we can insert players here too
jovetic if you get him for 25 in my opinion it is a good deal i think they will sell him for 30 but again we can insert players and if we do 20+quaglia i think that would be a good deal

I forgot Esti and Giaccherini were on loan. Yes, you're right I forgot about Pirlo but if we were to sign Sahin and he's healthy I think he could do a better job to start, so Pirlo on the bench. As for Pazienza, I don't think we'll get much of anything if he goes to Udinese.

20M for Sahin I would definitely do. That kid is class, he's only 23 and is better than any midfielder we have right now.

you are again forgetting pirlo , i repeat it pirlo is the best regista in the world if you want sahin to start either bench pirlo and that won't happen or do the 41212
if we get sahin he will be a sub and will be used when pirlo or someone else (probably marchisio i don't think he can do what vidal does) needs rest but in the matches that count pirlo will always be there
and for the 20 mil i am not saying he is not worth it just so you don't misunderstand me
i have seen him and i agree he is a potential word class and i think that if you play him with continuity you could easily sell him for 30 mil in the future but why be idiots and go give 20 mil for him when we get him for much less

and we own half of giac not on loan
and still if we get 2 mil from udinese for pazienza is still better than letting him for free right

Pirlo is indead the best regista in the world, but at current age, the issue are the downsides of wel, aging. loss of pace, agility and stamina.

You can argue he doesnt need those, but when he turns away from a defender, pace and agility make it that much more effective.

De rossi isnt a regista, but plays in the same area of the field. However, getting de rossi means we'd be needing a new winger, that is offensively extremely good, cause has to compensate for lack of pirlo's creativity

can we get that winger ? not sure

Yeah, Sahin would be the perfect player for us. I wish we got him, I can't believe RM paid so little for him.

Start:
Vidal - Sahin - Marchisio
Reserve:
Nainggolan - Pirlo - Marrone

Our reserve would still probably be the best in Serie A. If we were able to get Sahin and Nainggolan. What a dream...
:sergio: Pirlo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sahin. That is insanely stupid to want to start Sahin over Pirlo. The guy isn't good enough to shine Pirlo's shoes. I feel physically disgusted that you would put Sahin over Pirlo. Pirlo is the best regista in the world and shits all over Xavi in every department except for short passing because that is how barca play. We could never replace Pirlo with any known player in the world besides Xavi but besides Xavi it would be like trying to find a replacement for Zidane or Del Piero. Not possible.

Of course we could get another regista but they would still need to have good long passing and one of our wingers would need to move in and play as almost a trequartista. Banega or De Rossi would be good for that roles. Gaston Ramirez would be perfect for the right wing since he is very comfortable on the wings but he is a more of a natural central attacking midfielder.

Alright, lets not over exaggerate over here. Pirlo is one of the best regista's in the world, but don't take credit away from Sahin. Pirlo is 32 almost 33 and he isn't getting any younger, we're going to have to find an alternative to him sooner and later and Sahin or De Rossi is someone I'd love to take the spot.

I don't know how many years Pirlo has left in him, but some real good rotation could be used between him and Sahin in the league, Coppa, CL, etc.

So what if Pirlo is 32? If you haven't noticed, speed plays 0 part in his game. Del Piero can still tear shit up as a foward and he's 37. Age won't matter for Pirlo as long as we have players like Vidal and Marchisio around him. Pirlo could do his job almost standing still. Even if we did get Sahin there is no way he will start over Pirlo. Pirlo is simply better, end of story.

You're quick to forget the several games Pirlo played quite poorly. The Napoli match for example. Pirlo is a great player don't get me wrong, and was amazing in his prime, but his age is definitely taking a toll on him. If we're to make CL next season, Pirlo can't play every match. If Pirlo is to continue to start (over Sahin) it would only be for a year or so.

Yes Del Piero is 37, but he's no Del Piero like he was 10-15 years ago. I know some people on these forums say "start Del Piero, start Del Piero..." but he's not the same player. There's players in our squad that I would play over Del Piero, I love DP, but you have to do what's best for Juventus just like what Conte is doing.

I don't know, Pirlo is great but he definitely needs a rotating partner.
