Which is what I predicted this summer. They will be playing probably in 3 next year too. Unless they get a large cash injection I really don't see them making that step up in quality.

spending money on a player is an investment you spend 35 mil but when his contract end you cannot gain anything from the player
if you buy someone who is 26 for 30 after 3 years you sell him for the same price
i am not saying that you should never spend on 29 years old there should be experienced players on the pitch always but not at our current situation spending for a 29 years old who is really injury prone is bad

I was talking in general.RVP is not worth 35, not by a long shot.I say we get 40-50 m and buy Cavani.

Cavani and Van Persie are perhaps the top strikers I think that would fit the most this Juve side. Liverpool's Torres being another example.

I agree more with the figures below. I can't see them spending that much on a title winning squad (even if we don't win it, that on Cavani is just stupid, they could go for Damiao or someone with less of a reputation), maybe adding two quality players if they can.
