Such bullshit Linebreak. He looks clumsy because he's being played out of position. If he just played a defensive fullback, he would be fine - but he tries going forward to help out the team. He's giving 110% every game, being played out of position. I'm so thankfull for Chiello this season, even though he isn't WC in his position he is he helping the team more than any of us realize.

i forget who it was yesturday but the guy playing on the wing for Lecce burned Chiellini bad, there were times where he would try and defend flat footed in 1 on 1 situations, sorry but regardless of what position in defence you play that is just basics, yes he does help at times but at others he is simply too clumsy

He's probably the only world class Dutch real defender I have seen since I've been watching football, unless I am mistaken. Although that's probably to do with their all round football philosophy, I think Ruud Gullit touched on it in recent years.

I think of a lot of top players who played in defense, such as Koeman, De Boer, but no real defenders.
