Why buy more backups when we are in dire need of quality? My concern is that the backup actually becomes the main acquisition; that our management become complacent if we finish in the top two, and fail to reinforce considerably.

Should we leave everything until the summer, we will need a starting quality CB, a starting quality LB, and a stellar RW signings. 3 major investments in the summer? Is that really going to happen?

Ansaldi, Hummels/Benatia/Vidic, Giovinco, Ramirez/Shaqiri/Gotze/Reus/Ozil, a pirlo understudy, and a potential surprise signing for the attack (Jovetic/Damiao/Benzema), and I'd tip my hat off to the one eyed one.

I am of the same belief. We have decent subs as it is and cover for most. We need starters to push Bonucci/DC to permanent backups...that's how we build our depth is improve our starting 11 and push some of our current starters to backups, not the othe way around.

Bonucci/Pepe/DC should all be backups and eventually Barzagli. Bring me a Hummels, Ansaldi, Gio, etc and improve our starting 11, not the backups.

Reread my post you douche I didn't say we must buy all these in January, but a quality LB for a reasonable price is not impossible, particularly if he plays for a lesser team or in a league where the season starts/ends during a different period

We sell 6 or 7 players and free up some wages we can absolutely pull in 1 or 2 of these high calibre players rather easily I'd say.
