Marrotta is actually saying he'll only sign players who's contract ends at 06.2012 .. Anyone a list of central defenders with a expering contract?
Abidal, Bosignwa, King (tottenham), Distin (maybe an option?), Tymoshchuk, Delpierre (Stuttgart), Van Buyten (Bayern M), Boulahrouz, Breno, Chivu, Astori, Nesta, Cordoba, .. Serie A too much defenders with an ending contract, not one is good enough.. I think Distin is the best option.

Not really. Considering that these players NEVER play so want out, and let's take Krasic for example...other teams would jump on that chance so I don't see why between now and summer we can't clean house.
Sure, selling all that in winter is a challenge. Hopefully Marotta has been looking for suitable buyers to make our players consider leaving. In all honesty, once the summer mercato ended, Marotta's sole job should have been finding clubs to take the players we don't need anymore and be convincing them to leave.

Even if they are pretty much useless I think it would be a bad idea to get rid of Grosso or Motta unless we plan on buying direct replacements for them in the same window. Sure they suck and have barely played but I wouldn't want to end up in the middle of an injury crisis short on players.
