i wouldn't even say kolarov is great offensively, yes he can run with the ball going forward, but his crosses and end product is very poor.

tbh i wouldn't even go as far to say that balzaretti would do a better job at left back than chiellini. As i said before the fact that you rate him as the best left back in Italy is a very sad statement to the lack of decent left backs in the league, as a player in comparison to left backs in other league, balzaretti doesn't even come close no where near the likes of ashley cole, evra, marcelo, not even Ansaldi etc...

It's strange that you hate on Kolarovs lack of defensive capabilities and then praise Marcello who is arguably even worse than Kolarov in that aspect of his game.

I never said kolarov is shit, just not as good as everyone makes him out to be, seriously nicko will testify to that, infact the city fans want him out he is that bad, he can't cross, as for his ability to kick the ball woopty fucking doo, its a shame most of his free kicks go into row z anyways, even if they went in that doesn't mean he fills the necessary criteria needed to be a left back.
