Actually, you'll find its not just Italy where there is a supposed lack of good fullbacks. There just isnt that many great ones these days, full stop (opposed to rightbacks IMO)

where exactly have i overrated him? what because i like him? because i like his ability to play both rb and left back? which i feel is ideal for Juve especially as he can cover for Licht?

These are the LBs of some EPL teams: Evra, Kolarov/Clichy, Jose Enrique, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Kieran Gibbs

I'd take Balza over any of those except for Evra.
