I'd take Balza over any of those except for Evra.

Evra is becoming cack. I'd take Ansaldi or Cissokho over any of them. Kolarov is one of the best LBs in terms of offensive skills but defensively he isn't so great.

Like you said, the two best LBs currently play for Real Madrid. The rest of the LB's you'll find all have certain degree of suckiness to them. Just not as many good left sided fullbacks these days.

Exactly right. So saying that Balzaretti being one of the best LBs in Italy as a sad indictment of Serie A is just a stupid statement really.

i wouldn't even say kolarov is great offensively, yes he can run with the ball going forward, but his crosses and end product is very poor.

I admit I forgot Ashely Cole, but he isnt that great these days anyway, yes he's still prob better than Balzaretti, but we are talking asbout realistic transfer targets and I cant see us trying to sign Ca$hley anyway

And yes I dont rate Jose Enrique one bit..defensively suspect IMO.

PSG will probably pay €15m for Balza. Ansaldi's contract expires at the end of next season so he could probably picked up for €6-10m. Aulas said Lyon needs sell two players in Jan so I could see him leaving for €10-12m. They won't get more than what they paid for him.
