His contract expires this coming summer (2012). If so, then we need to make a move. We would be retarded not to, especially if we make CL. I am sure the two shit heads down south will look at him as well, so it's not like he won't have attractive offers here in Italy, but money is also convicing so who knows.

Has he ever commented about wanting to play abroad?

no club in italy will pay him what he wants, if its not roma, i find it somewhat difficult to believe that DDR would play for any other italian club, maybe inter at best, but they wont pay 7 mill a year, not with their financial difficulties, and i know we wont, not after what we were prepared to pay for Aguero last summer. so really that leaves him 2 options, either stay at Roma with an agreed and improved contract, or move abroad where he wont be short of suitors who can pay him handsomely.
