Yep. Giorgione needs to be back in the centre as soon as we find a gun LB. He really is wasted out left, and whatever "deficiencies" he has a CB are exposed ten fold on the lefthand side of our defence.

I'd rather go for a Ferdinand kind of player, even if Vidic is individually better than the english in my books.

I would probably pass on Farfan depending on who stays/leaves. Would be great but I wouldn't want him as a starter for important matches. Not good enough.

I really hope we get a LB. Cissokho or Ansaldi.

There's a point to player where wether he is type/style to fit into defending pair doesnt matter for fuck all, and that is when the defender in question is arguably the fucking best around

No point in getting De Rossi now when our midfield is looking good. Getting DDR would mean benching one of him, Vidal, or Marchisio. We should only look for decent backup for Pirlo, after securing a good LB of course.
