1. Elia didnt play and therefore cant be judged if he is a good or a bad signing.
I agree he probably do not impress in training and therefore not selected but he`ll get his shot sooner or later and then and only then we`ll have the right to judge him.

2. Marchisio is a good player and I think he has the potential of being better but there is no way he is top 5 in the world
He is just on form and even on form he is not top 5.
I see Marchisio as a Paul Scholes type of player. He is not WC but he can contribute and has a great teamwork ability.

3. Vidal has proven to be great so far.
Its true Vidal probably walked into most teams first 11.
Barca and Real didnt try for him.
a. He played for Leverkusen before and altough proved to be talented still far from being labled as WC this soon at his career.
b. Barca and Real have many great players on their minds and they cant go after every single great player that exists
Torres has been WC for Liverpool still Barca didnt try to get him and neigther Real.
Drogba,Buffon,Ribery,Pirlo and many other great players havent been approached by them too.

I'm still going through a high mood because we fucked up Inter last night, and right now we're on top of the league so I just want to throw out a couple of questions

1) If we make CL next season, do you think we'll be able to attract quality players?
2) If yes, who are 3 players you'd want us to sign? (1 forward, 1 mid, 1 defender.)

Definitely. Going to CL next season will both improve our economy and attractiveness towards high quality players. Furthermore, the economic boost of the new stadium will be felt by the end of this season (not saying that is has payed off, but a much improved steady flow of cash throughout 10 months will be noticable)

Attack: Tevez, Higuan or Benzema
Midfield: I wouldn't use any money here, just welcome Melo home from Turkey and there is your further depth in both quantity and quality we need for competing in CL.
Defense: Tremoulinas/Cissokho for LB & Rhodolfo for CB

This should be do-able with 50m, which we will have at our disposal next summer.

My dream lineup next season, within the confines of realism:

Licht - Rhodolfo - Chiellini - Cissokho
Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio
Tevez - Matri - Vucinic

If we have the same amount to splash as we did this summer, aprox 90m I'd like this:

Licht - Rhodolfo - Chiellini - Cissokho
Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio
Tevez - Higuain - Vucinic

I'm not a big Tevez fan, I think he'd more of a long-term problem which would eclipse his short-term benefits.

Buffon
Lichsteiner - Rhodolfo - Chiellini - Cissokho
Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio
Benzema - Matri - Vucinic

Would be my realistic dream team. But I'm afraid that Benz can't play in that position. We'd also have to start looking for a replacement for Pirlo. Can't think of many names right now.

Because I've been following him and I really think he is the future. I have a feeling he will become the best if he comes to a good club.

That's true. Its quite the oxymoron. What we're trying to say is a team we wish for that are in realistic parameters. But yes, you are right. :D

Rhodolfo was heavily linked to us towards the end of the summer, and many say that he'll be joining us in January. So who knows.
