Nobody is going to pay 30m for someone that plays in the Swiss league. The CL experience will raise his price by maybe a few millions at most, but that's ridiculous. He's definitely not amongst the most wanted youngsters that will cost ~30m, like Hazard, Neymar, Götze and perhaps Jovetic would be.

Lets see by the end of the year. Mark my words, he will not go for less than 25m. If he does, he is going in January. Thats how it works, the football world is hungry for young quality. That's good for us, I don't want him here. Lets invest in young stars like this guy as long as he fits our system. If a 4-3-3 works better than a 4-4-2 and we can only use Shaqiri as a winger I'd say don't go for him, but if he can play up front in the trident that I'm welcoming to that signing.

I noticed him impressing at the U21 tournament and have been trying to see highlights of all the Basel games, but it's really difficult apart from the CL. Caught Swiss 3-1 Bulgaria, Shaqiri was raping and Xhaka wasn't bad either. Do you think he'll be good enough for a big club soon?
