Given the current form of our wide players, yeah it would be well worth it.

Our back line is fine so far. We have not allowed anyone hardly anything close to goal with Chiellini at LB. We have a chance for a player like Tevez, we need to go for it. Unless we can sign a LB if a good one is available, which I don't think any are?

Are there?
Our back line is fine, yet you've still added Rhodolfo? :D Bonucci still worries me, and there's a good solution if Chiellini is moved back. Left back is currently lacking any strength in depth. I didn't even see Tevez, but I was changing whether we get a LB or CB in January.

I don't know who is available. I don't think Kolarov is.

:D

I added Rhodolfo only cuz we seemed destined to get him. I'd be fine with Kolarov this winter if he was actually an option we could sign. Rather, if we could get Cissokho in the summer, I'd rather wait for him and pass on Kolarov. That's more or less why I kept the back line the way it was, assuming we were gonna get the brazlian CB.

I think, especially after today, that Tevez should be our priority. We did well on the market this summer adding depth...Licht, Vidal, and Vucinic are great but not game changers. We need that one guy up top that can carry a team like DP used to. We passed on Cassano for free, people were happy because of his "attitude". I think its just plain silly to pass on a WC player because of problems at another club.

People don't want Cassano or Balotelli or Tevez because they have poor attitudes. :howler:

:sergio: Mediocre.

We have enough of those. Go get some quality. Someone like Hazard/Pablo Hernandez.
cerci is by no means mediocre, he is quite a decent winger, if he was that bad then why would man city and even ourselves go for him in the summer? and tbh id happily get rid of krasic for cerci who is more consistant and suits our style of play more.

Winter mercato: Tevez is more needed than a LB imo! Offload Amauri, Iq, Grosso and even Krasic (for the right price) in January..
todays game against chievo only goes to show that a player like tevez was definately needed. and the same against bologna and catania. a left back as cronios and many others here prefer wouldn't have done shit.

He's mediocre, we went for Pepe/Giac/Martinez doesn't mean that they aren't mediocre. If we want to get rid of Krasic we need much better player, not Cerci.

Conte wants hungry players, that will turn out to be future champions, not established champions, the mercato highlights this. cerci is one of Italy's best right winger in the league at the moment.

This is a football team not an eating competition, we need good players not italian wingers that are mediocre and turn out to be mediocre, Italy's best winger doesn't mean shit. We don't have to get champions that are out of our reach ATM but we can get good players outside of Italy and they are plenty of those.

hungry as in those who have the drive to succeed douche bag!

As i said before it is Conte's intentions to bring in players who are driven and have the capacity to be champions in the future.

get good players outside of Italy? yeah like tevez? yet people here don't even want him. We are in no capacity at this stage to thrash out 30 mill on a single player, so you can definately rule out signing any major house hold names anytime soon

Who said we need to splash 30 mil on someone, Cerci would be much more expensive or at least equal value to the likes of Reus/Shaqiri who are better players. Twisting my words will not make Cerci a good player, because he's mediocre.

really? wow i didn't know you knew the value of the market so well so how much will cerci, reus and shaqiri will cost?, i bet you've never watched cerci play in your life, and that your anti italian stereotype feeling is what is influencing your idea that cerci is a mediocre player, cause believe it or not, he is much better than krasic, but since krasic is not italian many here feels he deserves a chance still, despite nearly a year of inconsistency and poor performances.
