He denied this. Many links today in Italy and also he's on the bench today due to a technical choice.

All I know about that is that right after he apparently said that / that interview came out, he wrote on his twitter how he finds it ridiculous journalists keep making stuff up and he's getting tired of it. I think he even wrote something in Italian after that, but I can't quite remember what it was. He might've been covering his ass, but since he was overjoyed with Juve's interest a couple of months ago, it all seems a bit weird. I guess we'll never know.

He's been rather shitty in the first games, and he's on the bench for Hamburg now, though I'm not sure what the reason is. Maybe he'll come on in the second half, I'm watching the game.
