Some link to Mascherano came out of La Gazzetta a few hours ago. Presumably because of Fabregas' arrival but there are also reports now of Mascherano wanting to leave and his agents calling Marotta.

That would be nice if we had an extra 40 mil laying around.....

I'd say we have anywhere from €15-35M left. If Marotta can sell some players or include some in some deals that could reduce costs by €10-15M, not to mention wages...For the same wage that Amauri has we could pay Mascherano the same amount.

We have Pirlo to play the beautiful balls right on to the toes of our fowards. I saw a couple of orgasmic long high passes to Krasic in the pre-season games.

Mascherano would be absolutely terrific,him Pirlo and Vidal are gonna wreck havoc in Midfield..this way, we wouldnt need to spend so much on an LW,Pasquato and Martinez are ok to cover the left should we need to convert to 4-2-4 when one of the cm's are unavailable or we are looking to change formation in a match. i would love for us to somehow get Ramirez for cheap or some great prospect winger on a loan..
