Apart from Aquilani, it almost certainly meant that we had to make the purchase of the player, so we ended up with Motta and are probably keeping him for at least another 4 months, where he might be able to grace the football pitch.
Now thats just marotta's fault, why didn't he do deals like Aquilani's,where he did not have to pay anything upfront, and set a relatively good future fee.. Motta and Pepe were really bad decision by Marotta on the selection of players, not on the system of how he purchased them..

Now lets get Neymar!! :D

Dunno, cause you seem tense to me. I didn't see your comments, would be nice to read them again and tbh just saying that Elia could be a great player for Juventus, while he is wiping the bench with his ass in Hamburg is, let's say very patriotic at best. Again being targeted by his coach, despite his 'enormous quality' is also quite strange, and it's more tuned in support of the comments he made. Anyway I've read at least 10 times more posts from you in support of Elia, rather than Juventus and this is my general impression. Could be wrong and as I said, I would love to see your response to his words again, but there is also the probability that I am right and there is a method behind your madness for my 'quiet and great' comment. Either way, being in the lowland gives you a considerable advantage over the control of your flaming - you should use it, I would if I could. :alen:
Well tense... I'm having a bit of a shitty day, so not completely untrue.

I've usually resorted to saying something like.. a good player if we can get him for cheap, who needs a change of environment. Looking at some of the other options who were / are more expensive, I don't think Elia would've been a bad choice. Maybe I reply more often when people bash him because they don't watch him or don't really know his situation because he's Dutch, when I wouldn't bother 'defending' some random player, sure.. Still, I think I rate him pretty fairly, maybe a bit optimistic, because in his situation he is a bit of an unknown ( little playing time over the past year ).

I'm not sure what you mean by " more posts in support of Elia, rather than Juventus ", but I can assure you my love for Juve is far greater than for a player like Elia.

I'm not mad at your 'quiet and great' comment, I simply don't understand what you mean....

Edit: About the comments he allegedly made, he said he was misquoted on his twitter. I said I thought his comments were weird, as he stated how he was honoured and overjoyed by Juve's interest earlier in the year. I said Juve are definitely a bigger club but that, since we had really crappy seasons, it might not seem a huge step for all players.

The way I see it is as follows:

1) A novice coach -> proven leader and won serie b with inferior team
2) A clueless, penny pinching Sporting Director -> fixed all the holes in the squad, and got very good deals for them
3) Too much garbage, particularly on the bench -> mostly secco crap, or dept we need, at low wage cost
4) No difference makers, and a few aging players -> vucinic, vidal, pirlo, krasic make the diffrence. pasquato is promising
5) No cover for CB as of yet -> is the mercato over ? trying to get a good deal for alex
6) LW and LB are glaring weaknesses -> ziegler is horribly underrated, LW we are searching, mercato is ongoing
7) Milan, Inter, and potentially even Napoli are still ahead of us, rendering it extremely difficult to grab that final CL spot -> we are on par with lolnapoli, and the other two will lose points due to european games
8) We have made decent acquisitions, but nothing spectacular. Too many ifs and buts, inconsistent players, untested individuals, and no "Champions" as promised -> Read what marotta said, rather then what tuttosport makes of it. he was gonna get aguero unless a richer team snapped him. and thats what happened.
fixed the depressing shit you usually post

so how is it in the dream world, where players dont care about cash but history and fanbase, and where italy has a simular taxsysthem as england ?

To a certain extend, I agree. You won't find many people who don't.

Apparently the point I'm trying to make isn't really coming across.

For example: We're linked with a player, any player at all, decent, good or even great. Everybody just gives their 2 cents and then certain people post 5 times a day how we'll sign Gilardino instead.

Meh, I'm not going to bother anymore and I don't intend to fill this whole thread with some random discussion. The last pages have been full of non-transfer related stuff.. we should get back to business.
I perfectly understand what you are trying to say. Tbh, it's just that some individuals, certain members, myself included, allow their frustrations with anything Juve related to get the better of them.

Better than in your "real world" full of loopholes and delusions of grandeur my friend. You didn't really fix any of the depressing shit I posted; you simply refuted my points with biased arguments augmenting/stating your opinion. Nothing factual for that matter :p

Oh, hell no. Now you're just fooling yourself. You just magically fixed the "depressing shit"? You even called Pasquato a game changer and Conte proven

Play some Xbox or Playstation, dude.

In the end, this is all about a team that doesn't even know we are alive.

that is the way I look at it.

I spent way too many years and wasted too much emotion on all of my sports teams. there is no point in me complaining or being overly enthusastic about anything sports related, and it has nothing to do with the sorry state of all of the sports teams I have supported for decades (Yes, dude, ALL of them right now are in various states of clusterfuck).

Not worth it to me anymore. Living and dying by my sports teams was something that died with me about 20 years ago.

So true. If your team wins it all its not a great as you think. You still wake up in the morning with the same life. Sports is meant to give an escape for those couple hours a week.

Being a sports fan is like punching yourself in the face. You have to be an idiot to take it too seriously

Ah, you've never been to Newcastle? :D

I agree though, some years ago I became disassociated on a 'controlling my thoughts' level, probably after the last CL final defeat.

Try being a Los Angeles Dodgers fan, where the team is currently in Bankruptcy

or a San Franscisco 49ers fan, where they have the same Quarterback for the last 7 years who could throw a pass that is even too high for Andre the Giant to catch

or a Montreal Canadiens Fan, where they take 1 step forward and 2 steps back every year since 1993

or a Lakers Fan, who have gotten very old, very quickly, with no salary cap room, and no first round draft picks until 2013.

or even better, a USC fan whose team is on probation and won't even be remotely good for another 5 years.

Like I said, I got it bad as a sports fan :D
