Try being a Los Angeles Dodgers fan, where the team is currently in Bankruptcy

or a San Franscisco 49ers fan, where they have the same Quarterback for the last 7 years who could throw a pass that is even too high for Andre the Giant to catch

or a Montreal Canadiens Fan, where they take 1 step forward and 2 steps back every year since 1993

or a Lakers Fan, who have gotten very old, very quickly, with no salary cap room, and no first round draft picks until 2013.

or even better, a USC fan whose team is on probation and won't even be remotely good for another 5 years.

Like I said, I got it bad as a sports fan :D

pshhh....try being a Washington Redskins fan....We take good players and ruin their careers. All we have in the DMV right now is the Capitals hah

Whining about being a lakers fan? Be a blue jays fan had nothing to cheer about since 93 apart having a couple of HOF pitchers.

Lakers fan? are you serious you are crying about being a lakers fan. Jeez thats spoiled.
Not crying about that at all. Its just that the future looks very very bleak right now.

The redskins have been a far more competitive team than San Francisco the last 7 years.

How many other teams would still keep Alex Smith as their quarterback after 7 years?

Yeah, that's right, San Francisco.

And DVS, at least the blue Jays have won something since 1988.

The Dodgers have won 2 playoff series since they last won the world series in 1988.

2 playoff series.

And as far as the Maple Leafs are concerned.............................................

:howler:

 I used to be much worse in the past, when we were actually competing for titles and a force in Europe. I still remember those heart wrenching losses to Dortmund and Madrid like it was yesterday; on both occasions, we were the overwhelming favorites, particularly in that final against Dortmund, when we had gotten to the final undefeated throughout our entire CL campaign :touched:

Now, I just vent my anger and frustration on an online forum, because it makes me feel better. After that life proceeds as it normally would. Work, the gym, hooking up with chicks. I used to wake up to watch all our games in the past, compromising sleep time; now, I don't even bother.

Ya leafs are a joke. Its almost better that they suck because even the guy who knows nothing about sports has a joke about them. As for the Jays they haven't been in the playoffs since 1993.

I hear that 2nd half of the season last year I think I watched a half a game. I just knew they would be doomed. So sad

Tbh, as Serge said, they probably don't even know we exist. Sports fans can be fickle sometimes, and I'm guilty of that. However, Juventus don't make me money, pay for my bills, put food on my plate, or help me get laid. Unless I was a shareholder, the focus should primarily be on making money and achieving self sustenance.

This just in, Moratti has grown a conscience and has granted juve €250m in losses.

Marotta outlined the squad:

Buffon
Licht Vidic Chiellini Cissokho
Vidal Modric
Krasic Silva Ribery
Rossi

Barnetta on Juve radar

Swiss international Tranquillo Barnetta is the latest midfielder to be paired with Italian giants Juventus.

The 26-year-old could be the man who the Turin outfit turn to in order to resolve their problems on the left-hand side of midfield.

Barnetta is an attractive transfer proposition as he has less than a year left to run on his contract with German club Bayer Leverkusen.

Juve have already done business with the Bundesliga outfit this summer by netting Arturo Vidal for €10.5m.

Barnetta, formerly of Hannover, is said to be available for a fee in the region of €7m.

The player has also caught the attention of Premiership side Newcastle.

Juve have already bought two Swiss players since the end of last season in the form of Stephan Lichtsteiner and Reto Ziegler.
