Really? I read he said that Lampard and Del Piero never wanted to stop training while Totti would run off immediately after it ended.
ya he said that he was lazy and if totti would had went to barca or man u then he would have won the ballon d'or, but he said aside from that, totti is the best hes ever coached

As you've already discussed about revenues as a missing link I have to agree. I'd like to add though that youngsters in Italy are hardly given the same chances as in any other major league. Sure, some teams give their youths a game or two a year but considering what Juve, Milan, Inter etc offers them I'd leave too if I was a talented little boy. I'm certain we could attract more youngsters to turn their heads towards serie-a and more italian youngsters to stay if they actually were given a chance. Right now I don't see it happening anywhere but in the smaller teams. Search for new revenues, fix the stadiums those are long term commitments that will take time. Committing to the youngsters is a fairly cheap solution that can be applied at any time. This why I'm not the biggest fan of the acquisition of Pazienza, since he's right now only in the way of our own youngsters who could have taken his spot instead (Giandonato, Ekdal and so on). Sure they aren't as good as him but that's kind of what happens when you never get to play. At least Gia got a chance or two by Del Neri but, well, stil...
